The 14th Annual JOE FM Bowl for Children raised just over $15,000 for the Children's Ability Fund!

The 14th Annual JOE FM Bowl for Children at Ed's Rec Room in West Edmonton Mall last night was a great success. With 28 lanes full of enthusiastic participants and local celebrities heading up teams, it is no wonder this event is so popular and successful for the Children's Ability Fund - one of the longest running charities in Northern Alberta! For over 60 years, the Children's Ability Fund has raised funds to purchase specialized equipment for people with disabilities.

This event is so fantastic because of the ongoing support of our sponsors, celebrity team captains, and the participants who go above and beyond to raise pledges for the charity.

The following people won some great prizes for raising pledges for the charity:

5th place: $100 Gift Certificate for Ruth's Chris Steak House (donated by JOE FM) - Andre
4th place: Family Choice Pass for West Edmonton Mall - Sydnee from billy's Stars
3rd place: Bowling party for 20 at Ed's Rec Room - Richard from billy's Stars
2nd place: Diamond Ring donated by Ben Moss Jewellers - Cathy
And first place, raising $ 1,155 in pledges was Robin who won a 42" LG LCD TV donated by Double Diamond Electronics.
