The Ultimate Hot Chicken Wing Eating Contest!
After 17 very successful years it was time to retire the event. Over the past 17 years the participants in this event have eaten over 50,000 chicken wings and raised over $150,000 all for the Children's Ability Fund.
King Ken was the wing bone of this event. In 2007 he decided it would be his last year and vowed to top the $60,000 mark in pledges to help celebrate our 60th anniversary - as task he did well. Over the 11 years he participated Ken reigned as King of the Wings - raising a total of $69,238 and personally eating 884 hot chicken wings .
We salute you King Ken and thank-you for your outstanding contributions over the years.
A really big thank-you to all of the other participants who came and ate hot chicken wings all for a great cause - especially those teams who came back year after year after year - setting the bar higher each time.
