Volunteer Recognition Program
This year we set a new record of 1,199 volunteer hours (equals the value of one part-time person for a whole year). We are truly grateful to the many individuals who donate hours of their precious time to help us raise money & awareness.
Our largest volunteer fundraising projects in terms of man hours worked were:
- Casino with 258 hours
- Edmonton Capitals 50/50 draws with 230 hours
- ACT Gold Brick with 150 hours
- Silver Skate Festival with 118 hours
- Vegreville 50/50 draws with 109 hours
- Tee Fore Two Golf tournament with 107 hours
- Board & Committe meetings+ with 75 hours
We couldn't do what we do without the help of our dedicated volunteers.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION & APPRECIATION
We like to recognize those individuals who so generously donate their time and energy to help us reach our goals. Over the past year the following individuals reached some milestone in volunteer committment.

In recognition of the valuable contribution of our "Be Billy's Bud" volunteers, the Children’s Ability Fund has established an appreciation program.
For each volunteer hour worked during a Children's Ability Fund special project, one point will be earned to go towards the following items:
- 3 points - Special Event Item
- 10 points - Children's Ability Fund Membership

- 25 points - Children's Ability Fund Denim Shirt
- 50 points - Children's Ability Fund Fleece-lined Vest
- 100 points - Children's Ability Fund Jacket.
- 250 points - Gift Certificate
Points continue to accumulate for a two-year duration after a prize has been awarded.
