Silent River Benevolent Foundation
The Children's Ability Fund attends Silent River Kung Fu's Pandamonium! Their students raise money for charity by taking part in a 24 hour endurance sweat-fest of perpetual kung fu! Thank you Master Brinker and the Silent River Kung Fu Benevolent Foundation for including us in your Celebration – we are honored to be part of this celebration and truly appreciate your support!
Muriel Martin School Bake Sale
Caelyn and Stefania two grade 6 students lead bake sales that were a wonderful success, raising $1000 for the Children’s Ability Fund.
With support form Muriel Martin School, parents, classmates and teachers, these two hard working young ladies organized and planned bakes sales in support of the Children's Ability Fund. On February 17, 2017 we were honored to attend the school to be presented a cheque for $1000 from these two shining stars.
Silent River Benevolent Foundation
The Children's Ability Fund attends the Chinese New Year Celebrations hosted by Silent River Kung Fu yearly. The Silent River Benevolent Foundation has carefully selected a group of deserving charities and initiatives (near & far) to work toward making the world a better place for children. Under the leadership of Master Jeff Brinker, the Silent River Kung Fu students and teachers are just as dedicated to making a difference in the world as they are to the discipline and hard work it takes to succeed in the Martial Arts. Each year they host annual fundraising events involving the entire studio. In addition, students are actively involved in many other community activities.

Vegreville Father's Day Demolition Derby 2017
A record number of vehicles for the show and shine, sunny skies and the fan favorite demolition derby created another wonderful Father’s Day event.
The Children’s Ability Fund car had a respectable showing in the demolition derby but won hands down for fan favorite!
All the while, Children's Ability Fund volunteers were selling 50/50 tickets in the stands. This year’s winner from Vegreville took home more than $2,500.
Vegreville has championed our charity thanks to our local ambassador and Children's Ability Fund board member "King Ken" Gulevich. Thanks to the Father's Day committee for including us in this event and continued thanks to the generous folks of the Vegreville area who continue to support the Children's Ability Fund.
