Meet Maria

Imagine having your car stolen from your parking stall with your child’s wheelchair packed inside – ready for the next adventure. Bad enough to lose one mode of transportation, but this was a double whammy!

 

Because of her dwarfism Maria has severe bowed legs which limit her ability to walk long distances. Although the police found the family’s car 3 days later, the wheelchair was no longer in it.

 

Thanks to your donations, the Children’s Ability Fund was able to provide the $1165 required to replace the chair for Maria. And once again, she has the freedom to experience trips further than her legs can carry her!
