Meet Megan
Megan needs a power wheelchair for mobility. Because she cannot shift her own weight, she needed a tilt on her chair for positioning, postural assistance, pressure and pain relief and to reduce the progression of scoliosis. The Children's Ability Fund was able to provide over $6,000 for the tilt system.
"Thank you for paying for my power wheelchair. I LOVE IT!!!! I use it in the hallways at my... school so I can drive around and see if I can find kids that I know! So far I’m getting pretty good at that! I can now go by myself everywhere! I am looking forward to going to the lake this summer so I can drive around and visit my friends! I am so happy….. Thank you for giving me my FREEDOM!!!"
